Quirky comedy with Nicolas Cage before he became mainstream. This is a Coen brothers movie about an ex-con (Cage) who marries a police officer (Holly Hunter). After they find out they cannot have children, they take one of the sixtuplets of a local businessman figuring he had more than he could handle. Being a father myself I had a bit of a hard time with that premise and couldn't imagine ever being sympathetic to people who did this in real life. The movie has some funny sequences, very unique characters and is quite a different movie. I think you have to be in the right mood to enjoy this one. If you like the Coen brothers, you'll love this one. There is some language and violence which may not be appropriate for younger viewers.
