Madea’s Witness Protection is like all the Madea movies it’s funny, pointed and great for quoting. This movie is about a wealthy family and the father, George, is being set up to take the fall for a Ponzi scheme is company is running. In exchange for helping the FBI figure out where all the money went, George can stay out of jail. While George helps the FBI, they move into an officer’s aunts house and of course, that aunt is Madea. Madea shows the family what is really important and together they right the wrong that fell upon their family. The movie is funny and isn’t as intense as some Tyler Perry movies are. The best part is that Madea is well featured and sometimes she is a smaller part in these movies. It’s always good when Madea is in a lot of scenes because those are always the funniest. If you watch this movie be warned, you’ll never go through airport security without smiling and if you’ve already seen it, you know why that is. This is a rent in movie and perfect for a Friday night. Anyone above the age of 13 is good to watch this. Like I said earlier, sometimes Tyler Perry movies can get intense so just because this one is ok for 13 years and older doesn’t mean they all are. Be careful when making your selections.
