"Life of Pi" is probably the prettiest movies since "Avatar." Even after watching it, audiences might be surprised to learn just how much of it is actually computer animated, including a lot of the shots of one of its main stars, Richard Parker. But Ang Lee's most recent Oscar winner is worth seeing for more than just its impressive visuals. "Life of Pi" is a fantastic piece of filmmaking with a story that deals overtly with the role of religion in a way that is almost guaranteed to spark debates as the credits roll. In this case, though, that's not a bad thing. With as much adventure and humor as there is drama, "Life of Pi" could also be a good bet for some younger audiences.
