As a fan of the books, I was far from disappointed at "Catching Fire." With a meticulous fidelity to the original story, this film brings to life the unintentionally subversive exploits of two kids thrown into the spotlight in a violent world. Though more sci-fi than teen drama, the tired concept of a teen love triangle may cause some eyes to roll. This film is not short on action or excitement, but what really captured my imagination was the inventive futuristic world in which oppressed slave districts are itching to revolt against a corrupt regime.
