A fabulous movie with an odd, tonally confused ending. Reitman creates so much tension, it's hard to watch some times, but in a good way. The performances are pitch perfect, except for a strange appearance by Toby McGuire. The material is mature in theme, and human sexuality is discussed and alluded to, but there is little to no swearing and violence is minimal. It is a film that explores notions of family in interesting ways, and if you can get past the (seemingly studio induced) ending it is well worth your time.
