For some reason, my kids did not want to see this movie. After, they were singing all the way to the car ... all the way home ... and all through the next day.

This isn't my favorite muppet movie. I thought the storyline was a bit dull and Walter was a bit annoying. However, I LOVED Jason Segal and Amy Adams in this! Jason Segal was especially fun to watch; I loved the Muppet/Man song. That was a nice touch too; it was great to have original songs again.

My favorite thing in the world... Muppets. So I wanted nothing more then my kids to love them too. This movie made that happen. Whether it was the awesome dance numbers, the corny jokes, the amazing music or ANIMAL; I will never know but one thing is for certain my kids love the Muppets now too. Walter and Gary try to help the Muppets earn back their theater and studio from evil oil baron Tex Richman. Everything in this movie just works! Kids will love it and adults will too! I would write more but I think I just want to go and watch it again! #countingthedaystilthesequel

Not just because I'm a Muppet fan, hands-down, this is the best movie of the year! There's a lyric in one of the songs that says: "I've got everything that I need right in front of me". That's the way I felt for 2 hours watching "The Muppets". It's officially the best-reviewed film of 2011 according to Rottentomatoes.com and has received more praise than Kermit could have wished for. Speaking of Kermit, he has changed. Like me, he is a bit more jaded about life. He needs someone to lift his spirits in this film and we couldn't root for him more. The whole gang is back. Muppets we haven't seen since Jim Henson's death in 1990. What a true pleasure to see old "faces" I grew up with knowing that a new generation will get to experience them the way I did! Jason Segel has done a miraculous job of staying in the true spirit of Henson's style, something that has been lacking in recent years. And as for Walter (Segel's "Muppet" brother), he couldn't be a more welcome addition to the Muppet family. Be ready to laugh, be ready to sing, and ultimately (for us older Muppet viewers) be ready to wipe a nostalgic tear from your eye. Welcome back gang, and keep up the good work! Sensational, inspirational, celebrational, and Muppetational...

I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Jason Segel does a superb job of creating a movie that encompasses the fun that the Muppets exude, while also telling a compelling story. Though it is cheesy at times (I think on purpose), it was entertaining and most kids would enjoy it (especially the songs). There is very little of anything that parents would want to protect their families from. It is a safe watch.

    Disappointing, other than Amy's signing.

What a great film! I have been bored by some Muppets movies but this one is hilarious and it's witty. It's a good show that's appropriate for children but also appeals heavily to the adult world. The singing and performing is fun and engaging. The cast did a great job with this one.

Wonderful for the whole family!! Very entertaining! Don't watch Watch Warhorse or Act of Valor, those movies suck

This film is funny. It is about a pair of brothers (one of whom is a man and one who is a muppet) who love the muppets and take a trip to go see their studios only to find that the muppets are all has-beens. When they learn of a plot to destroy the studio, they get Kermit to round the gang back up for a comeback show. Along the way hilarity ensues. You do not even have to like the muppets or be familiar with anything they have done in the past to enjoy this. The thing I liked most of all was how aware this movie is of its own movie-ness. I laughed a lot at this one. It is really bizarre, but in a good way.

Fun movie. Has a lot of nostalgia. My little girl got a little bored during parts of the movie but overall she was well entertained.

This film is a fun nostalgic romp. The comedy was tastefully done, Unlike the last film. Except for the strong anti-capitalist message, I recommend this to anyone who loves the Muppets. I find it oddly mysterious that Rizo the Rat wasn't in this film. I suppose there were strong mirrorings of the first Muppet film. Rizo wasn't in that one either.

Nice movie, feel good movie, cheesy at times, funny but I would say the humor is more for adults. I really liked the cameos by Emily Blunt, Neil Patrick Harris, Jim Parsons. etc..

The movie was sweet and innocent and not as bad as I thought it might be. I couldn't, however, convince my wife to see it with me and the kids. She insists on calling it Fraggle Rock. I enjoyed it somewhat but to me it wasn't a "must see." I'd wait for it on video.

Am I a man or a muppet? I don't know after this movie. One thing's for sure - my young kids and I laughed for 90 minutes.
