Very different from any classic snow white stories I have seen. It has a twist of humor that is not kid friendly I would say. Julia Roberts did not act as a super evil queen, and I kind of liked that somehow, since we are expecting a darker version of this story in a coming movie. I liked Lily Collins' acting and the dwarfs were excellent. The costume design is totally out of the norm, but it was quite fun at the same time. The story has a good message of honesty, friendship, courage, and strength. The end of the movie I thought was a little out of place, but overall I think it is worth time exploring this version of snow white.

This is movie is admittedly silly but it doesn't take itself too seriously so it's a forgivable offense. It was one of the few movies I felt comfortable taking my mother to.

Great date night film. Essentially this is the story of Snow white with some unexpected (Or expected) twists along the way. Being as old as she is Roberts plays the role as the evil queen quite well. The Actress playing Snow White was perfect for the role. The whole thing Feels like a really well done light-hearted play. Do stay for the end credits, there is a really interesting musical number that is really unexpected but well done.

For kids, it's worth your time.
I wouldn't bother if you're not watching it with someone in the 7-12 year old demographic. -
Mirror Mirror doesn’t reflect well on those involved with making this movie.
The idea of retelling a fairy tale is an idea as old as time. But retelling it with a lazy script…and then adding a Bollywood number in the end? Spare me.
The visuals for this movie were spectacular; it sported a unique art style and interesting and lavish costume design. With each growing moment I was appalled that this dazzling movie was so poorly made. I found myself laughing at parts that weren’t intended to be funny at all. It wasn’t funny enough to be a comedy, not dramatic enough to be a drama and didn’t have enough action to be an action flick. In summary this is just one of those movies that just seem to exist…my advice? Save your money for when The Avengers comes out. -
Disney attempted a new look at the classic tale of Snow White with humor and class, but mostly missed the mark.
The acting lacked and the movie's attempts at humor hardly nudged the audience.
The film constantly switched its target audience with each scene. Some parts contained innuendo that only a parent would enjoy (if they did), while other scenes were clearly only had children in mind.
As for the acting, I wasn't sure if the characters were supposed to have a British accent throughout the film, but it changed often depending on the scene.
Strange and somewhat disturbing scenes, including one in which the evil queen, played by Julia Roberts, undergoes a "beautifying treatment" involving scorpions, snakes and bird fecal matter.
As for violence, some intense action but no blood or gore.
Parent's should be more concerned with innuendo and references to bare-chested men.
These, however, are concerns if you choose to attend this swing-and-a-miss movie.
Though it may seem a charming story of the Classic Snow White, prepare to become a sleeping beauty during the showing. -
I went intrigued about this movie, not expecting to really like it but I have to say I was very surprised and I loved it! Julia Roberts was amazing, the drawfs were shockingly so much fun and I laughed so much through this! It was different, creative, funny, surprising in so many ways and left me wondering from one moment to the next what was around the corner! Still too old I think for my 6 year old and the younger ones but great for everyone else! Be prepared to have fun!

Surprised how badly done the movie is considering Julia Roberts in involved. Not worth the rental. Miserable dialogue, storyline.

Cute twist and premise. I especially loved the conflict resolution. Again, pre-porn agendas and too much sensuality make this pg13 fare for me.

I don't feel that I can give this movie an age-appropriateness level because I could not force myself beyond the first 30 minutes of the film. It was just horrifically bad. Not at all worth anyone's time. I cannot see either children or adults liking this film. It's acid-trippy weird without being fun, endearing, or engaging. Just a complete flop.

I'm not a harsh movie critic and usually like most shows, but this one missed the mark completely. I would have walked away from it if I hadn't been watching it with a group.

A funny movie. It does get a bit slow at times, but really a fun movie to rent.

There isn't much of a plot there but it is a really cute popcorn flick. I went with my hubby and then went again with my 8 year old daughter and we all really liked it. Nothing bad in it and very few intense moments.

I struggled with this one. It was quite a bit different from other versions of Snow White and the acting was mediocre at best. The seven dwarfs were funny but also cheesy at times.

The seven dwarves really made the movie. The queen is crazy. Took a bit of time to really get going, but I ended up loving it. Super funny!

A little different from other movies and it took me a while to get interested, but once I did I thought it was a cute movie and great for little kids.

I found the movie funny and charming. My 10 year old daughter laughed and giggled the whole way through. It had no swearing or inappropriateness that I saw.

A new take on the old story. Was more entertaining our children than for us parents. Overall, worth renting.

This one reminds me of "The Princess Bride" though it's not as satirical or violent. It's more family friendly, the bit of song at the end is bearable though it doesn't fit the rest of the film, and the film doesn't take itself too seriously.
