This movie makes some very interesting points as the creator steps back through Obama's life and influences. It makes the point that to really understand his vision you have to understand who his influences were. It focuses a lot on his father since he was an important ideological figure in Obama's younger years. It is worth the watch no matter what your opinion on him is, at least as a way of getting to know who his influences were and perhaps understanding his vision for America.

This is not the raving hatchet job some liberal media commentators would have you believe. Its thoughtful, factual, and full of Obamas own words. You can draw your own conclusions. But it has to make you think about what really does motivate the current president, and what he may do in a second term without a reelection bid to worry about. Even without the election in mind, the documentary on history, and views of "colonialism" are informative and insightful.

promotes considerable thought regarding who the president really is.

Good movie. A very eye opening perspective from an author with a greater understanding of life lived outside of the USA. I did try to consider that while watching this movie. I enjoyed it, I'm not sure that my view of our President changed because of the movie. I think that most fans of Obama will not like this movie, and while I did. It did leave me with more questions then answers. I would not recommend it for under age 14,simply because I most of it would be too intellectual for them, unless they are a fairly sophisticated teen.

Wow! Well researched, great cinematography (for documentary), thoughfully presented, and it left my wife and I feeling soberly enlightened. President Obama himself provides much of the audio.
Well worth your time to go see.September 4th, 2012 Details -
Gives an explanation that makes sense. See it and make up your own mind, but it will definitely make you think. It is well done. The ideas are not pushed on you. Allows you to examine the evidence. Highly recommended.

It amazes me what a person can see when he is not born in America -

A decent documentary. On par or better than "Inconvenient Truth" as far as the filmmaking goes. The audio mix, however, was poor. The music was mixed far to loud and there was far too much music.

It's when Dinesh D'Souza starts guessing about Obama's psychology and motivation that his arguments weaken. Unfortunately that's where he spends most of his time... Read the full review here

Most viewers are likely to come away from D'Souza's fairly slickly produced movie holding precisely the same view of the president they did going into it. Conservatives will be delighted, liberals will be offended and the majority of independents will probably remain unswayed... Read full review here

B.S. that is tearing the country apart do a fact check and you can see all the lies you might not like our country's leader but there are plenty of true reasons to hate him you don't need to lie

This is a great movie for what is coming up in the u.s. with obama being re-elected. This movie pretty much proves obama isn't a natural born citizen and should be impeached!
Anyway this is a good movie for getting yourself informed, and you should watch it.May 14th, 2013 Details
