It's one of the more confusing movies I've ever seen. I'm probably just not smart enough to follow it, but I felt like I was left out of an inside joke here. Crazy special effects and visually stunning, but in my opinion Inception is over-hyped.

Like The Matrix and Fight Club, Inception is a mind-bender that was marketed to be much more sophisticated than it really is and more violent than it should be. What is real, and what is not in this movie? I don't know, and by the end of this movie, I didn't care. The movie itself is no better than the trailer at actually telling a story because both are so gummed up with super-serious music and jaw-dropping special effects. Yes, the special effects are interesting and creative, but I found the whole thing confusing and disappointing.

This is one of those rare movies that will easily attract your attention the first time you see it and will keep it any other time you watch it - that is, if you're willing to put forth some sort of effort to understand it. It's one of those things where you get what you give - the more you're willing to give it thought and focus, the more interesting it will be. People did make it out to be a lot more confusing than it actually is. With thought, it's not incredibly difficult to understand on the surface; it's when you go a bit deeper into the plot and theses of the film that you start getting into what makes this movie so interesting. As with any Christopher Nolan film, the script is impeccably written. The ambitious premise is carried out extremely well. I must have seen this movie dozens of times since it was first released, and I'm still completely engrossed each time. The actors' performances are all extremely well fitted to the work overall. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone.

In a tweet: Exceptional! It'll draw you in like a dream then make you think for days afterward. Once isn’t enough to capture the essence of Inception. Overall, you'll need to see this more than once in order to grasp the concept. It's compelling. I felt like the concept of the show justified the violence because I didn't feel like the violence made me think of treating others that way. Some shows have violence that teenagers would imitate after seeing it, the violence in this movie wasn't like that. I think it's worth owning.

This movie was a major mind bender. It had me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I don't think little kids would enjoy this movie because its pretty deep but 13 and up would definitely enjoy.

It's an interesting concept portrayed in this film, to be sure. It's a great story, though it just seems like an excuse for nonstop violence (they call it "action"), By the time it ended, I was grasping for air.

If you do not see this movie, then your life is not fulfilled. I love the creativity it displays with the whole dream plot. But it does take a little thinking to understand what's going on (which may be hard for some people).

This movie goes in my top ten all time list. Very well done movie all around. I really like Christopher Nolan (director) and would recommend all of his work.

Mind numbing and bizarre. It was an ADHD experience I never want to have again.

This is a mind bending, twilight zone, Outer Limits episode on steroids. I enjoyed this from beginning to end. It would probably take me several viewings to understand everything about it. Couple things I have a problem with. The college aged girl who ends up being the Architect. I can see how addicting controlling dreams can be, But once she understood the full impact of the inception plan, there was no questioning of the ethics involved or the fact that this could screw up her entire life. She just became a part of the team like she knew these people all her life. I thought that was a bit unrealistic. Instead she just complains about Decaprio's psychological issues. Only other problem I had was that they seemed to be able to dodge bullets a bit excessively. Who knows, maybe being real people in another's subconscious makes them able to do this. All round great movie though. Worth your time.

I thought this movie would be better than it was. I found it to be just weird and boring.

A truly original film that doesn't spoon-feed you every emotion or plot element. I appreciate that the ending is not tied up in a neat little package, but rather it is left open to the viewer and their perception of reality. Leonardo DiCaprio delivers a stellar performance at the helm of a knock-out cast. The plot is not confusing, but it does require you to think. People too often confuse having to think with being confused these days.

I rated this movie a very low R because, while the action scenes do not have any blood/gore and there are no objectionable sexual scenes, the plot is complex, twisting, and emotionally taxing. This movie is good and worth a watch for adults, but the heavy emotional/psychological content of the movie would prevent me from taking anyone with less than an adult maturity level to see it.

The movie is suspenseful and there is gun violence but little to no blood or gore. Also, the story makes it clear the violence isn't real. I was very pleased that there was no harsh language.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. I think the plot is unique and the effects are very well executed. Overall worth your time but be aware of some graphic violent scenes for young children.

Kudos to Chris Nolan for coming up with one of the few original stories to go through cinemas in 2010. Not only is it original, but the plot is very complex. Not only is the plot very complex, but it is still easy to follow. All of that together makes this one impressive film. I LOVED the zero-gravity stuff, too. That hallway fight was the coolest thing I've seen in a film for a long time. My one gripe is that the action in the rest of the film was fairly sub-par. All the machine gun fighting was really tedious, I thought.
