"Spider-Man" centers on student Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) who, after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider, gains superhuman strength and the spider-like ability to cling to any surface. He vows to use his abilities to fight crime, coming to understand the words of his beloved Uncle Ben: "With great power comes great responsibility."

Major props for the ambition of the film, but at the end of the day, a pretty disappointing cast and a terrible actualization for their villain. With there being only 5,000 versions of Spider-Man, you just have to choose which one/s you like and I do declare, I really like this one. It‚Äôs the first Spider-Man where the story comes to life, the characters have depth, and the actors put you right in the film.
