I loved this film and so did my little sister. However, children who cannot handle a scare from say, Goosebumps will be absolutely terrified. I give this an 8+ for a certain type of eight-year-old. It's entirely possible that for more sensitive kids you might want to wait until even junior high.March 2nd, 2016 · Details
Coraline is a beautifully animated, haunting piece that is best served around Halloween time. Bruno Coulais' score is a perfect compliment to the eerie atmosphere, and director Henry Selick manages to capture some of that dark, whimsical energy he became famous for with "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Definitely not for everyone, a bit long, and possibly too creepy for the youngsters. Also, the naked old ladies are a bit much... maybe a lot too much. But if you're willing to hit skip on that scene, this is a movie ready to be embraced by the right audience.May 2nd, 2014 · Details
This movie was disturbing. I watched it with my adult family and we all wanted our time spent watching it back. It's one of those films that doesn't necessarily have anything BAD in it, but just leaves you with a bad creepy feeling.September 24th, 2013 · Details
The previews made this movie look really quirky and interesting. But instead it was creepy, dark, and offensive--not to mention confusing. I hated every minute of it.September 21st, 2011 · Details
