Megamind
Though he is the most-brilliant supervillain the world has known, Megamind (Will Ferrell) is the least-successful. Thwarted time and again by heroic Metro Man (Brad Pitt), Megamind is more surprised than anyone when he actually manages to defeat his longtime enemy. But without Metro Man, Megamind has no purpose in life, so he creates a new opponent, who quickly decides that it's more fun to be a bad guy than a hero.

Not sure who gave this an R. I didn't notice anything too over the top but it does include the occasional potty humor typical of a Will Ferrell movie. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Very funny movie. Megamind reminds me a little bit of the bad guy from Monsters Vs. Aliens. This is a fun romp. Worth watching at least once.

This is Dreamworks animations studio’s third film of 2010. It’s the weakest of the three, in my opinion, but still good fun and quite funny. The film focuses on the super villain Megamind and his repeated attempts to take over Metro City, which are always foiled by the superhero Metroman, who basically has Superman’s powers and background. Megamind is a really funny character. All his little idiosyncrasies make him very watchable. The story is funny and has some unexpected developments along the way. It shares some surface similarities with Despicable Me. It’s nowhere near as charming as that film, though it is considerably better animated.

Redemption is the theme of this movie. I couldn't recommend this movie more. It was brilliant in it's humor and action. I watched this movie with the kids several times, and never got bored. Loved it!
