What is it: When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna (Kristen Bell) joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel), and break her icy spell. Although their epic journey leads them to encounters with mystical trolls, a comedic snowman (Josh Gad), harsh conditions, and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip.
Why I should watch it: If you somehow missed out on the "Frozen" fever, you really should give this movie a chance. As usual, Disney combined beautiful animation with gorgeous music to create an entertaining movie for everyone.
What's in it: "Frozen" is rated PG for some action and mild rude humor. The movie has an OK.com age rating of 4+.
Fun tidbit: When the gates open during "For The First Time in Forever," there is a cameo of Rapunzel and Eugene (Flynn) from Tangled (2010). Rapunzel has short, brown hair and is wearing a purple and pink dress (her celebration dress at the end of 'Tangled'), and Eugene is wearing a maroon vest and a brownish sash. They are entering the screen from the left.
What reviewers say: "I definitely recommend this movie. Although it is based on "The Ice Queen" story, I believe it had a good plot, not the typical "perfect princess" meets "perfect prince" and they lived happily ever after thing. It has its doze of fun and laughter for the kids while also entertaining adults. It also has a dose of dating advice, which I thought was funny, but overall I think it has a great message of Love as the most important thing. The music and effects are awesome." -OhMy
